Nene Yoshitaka is the exclusive actress for Faleno Star. She has been the longtime flagship star of her agency Eightman since her debut. She just announced she is switching agencies. Starting today, she is officially with T-Powers.
Of course, we knew about this early. Her manager told us about the big move around the 20th. By the 27th the transfer was complete. That same day, we saw Eightman’s official X account quietly remove her tag.
So why did she switch?
In her statement on X, Nene said the decision was not sudden. She has worked in the industry for nine years. She still has some goals she has not achieved yet. She wants to pursue them fully now with support from T-Powers.
Two things are worth watching now. First, T-Powers does not work with her current label, Faleno Star. Will they let her stay there or make her leave? I think she will probably leave. Second, with T-Powers, will she have chances for international projects? The answer is clearly yes. Otherwise we at ForAVer would not have gotten the news so early.
All I can say is, stay tuned.
This transfer happened very quickly, especially to T-Powers. T-Powers is a rival agency and has never had good relations with her old one. Will this make the bad feelings worse? My view is that things were already tense. This move will not change much. Now Nene is gone, Tsukasa Aoi has retired, and Rara Anzai has almost disappeared. Mai Tsubasa and Suzume Mino face much more pressure now. No wonder Eightman just announced they are increasing efforts with Hikaru Nagi!
